  • Who is Harbor Tower Events?

    Harbor Tower Events is the event space on the 4th floor of the Legg Mason Tower. It is managed by Restaurant Associates on behalf of Legg Mason. Restaurant Associates also provides all catering services and event management services for events on the 4th floor. 

  • What are the Room Rental options?

    Conference Rooms are available for full or half-day rental. The Baltic Room is available for rent by the hour. Cook Commons is available after 4PM on weekdays, and on weekends.

    ** Large events may have the room rental fee waived for meeting a minimum food and beverage requirement.

     

  • What does the Room Rental Fee include?

    Room rental fee includes the use of the contracted space and any associated reception space, configured to your specifications; administrative support; A/V projectors/screens with support during business hours; flip charts, easels & markers; on-site catering availability; full handicap access; all in a LEED-certified building.

  • What is the reservation and cancellation policy?

    Reservations are encouraged one year in advance. We will hold your request for 5 business day without any obligation. A 50% deposit is required with your signed contract. Balance is due two weeks prior to the event. If reservation is made less than two weeks prior, full payment is required prior to the reservation date. For any cancellation more than 30 days prior to the Event: 50% of down payment will be refunded. For any cancellation 30 days or less prior to the event, no room rental fees will be refunded. 

  • What is the maximum number of people your facility can accommodate?

    We have numerous spaces and configuration options. Please contact us for more information.  The largest size event we can accommodate is 475 people. 

  • How far is the Legg Mason Tower from the airport? The train station?

    Legg Mason Tower is approximately a 20 minute drive from BWI airport and 10 minutes from Baltimore’s Penn Station.

  • Do you have free Wi-Fi available?

    Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in our Conference Center.

  • Who may schedule events at The Conference Center? Do I need Legg Mason affiliation?

    The Conference Center and Cook Commons is available for public rental, without Legg Mason affiliation. 

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Room rental fees must be paid for by check or ACH.

  • Where can I park?

    There is a large, secure parking garage under our building available for your event 24/7. Please inquire about rates, validation, and valet options.

  • What hotels are nearby?

    There are 6 hotels within 2 blocks. We recommend an internet search for Harbor East Hotels for a complete listing with contact information.

  • What are some nearby attractions?

    Harbor East offers a wide variety of top-rated restaurants, along with shopping galore. Historic Fells Point is less than a mile away, with its Cobblestone Streets, lively pubs and abundant live music. The Inner Harbor is a short walk along the waterfront promenade and offers a wide selection of boat rides, the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center and street performers.  

  • Is there security in the building?

    Yes, Harbor East provides 24/7 security at the front desk and throughout the building. All visitors will be required to check in. Please bring photo ID. For large events, guests will be checked in by our staff or your staff without having to present ID. A registration/guest list must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the event.

  • What type of events can I hold at your venue?

    Almost anything – business meetings, multi-day conferences, awards dinners, cocktail receptions, weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. as long as they are adult-centered events.

  • Can I bring in my own caterer or my own food?

    No, Restaurant Associates is the exclusive caterer for the Legg Mason Tower.  Wedding cakes provided by a licensed bakery are permitted.  

  • Do you make ethnic foods?

    Our culinary team has broad experience in many different cuisines. We are happy to work with you to develop a menu that is inspired by almost any regional cuisine.

  • How do I bring in large equipment?

    Anything larger than a rolling suitcase must come through the loading dock by prior arrangement.

  • Can I decorate the space?

    Yes! We encourage you to bring decorations suitable for your event. Nothing may be attached to the walls, but other than that, you have numerous options including pipe & drape, lighting, flowers, banners, window clings, etc.
