  • Who is Harbor Tower Events?

    Harbor Tower Events is the event space on the 4th floor of the Legg Mason Tower. It is managed by Restaurant Associates on behalf of Legg Mason. Restaurant Associates also provides all catering services and event management services for events on the 4th floor. 

  • Which rooms are available to rent for my ceremony / reception?

    At Harbor Tower Events, we only host one wedding per night; meaning you have the entire floor to yourself! Small wedding receptions may take place in the Java room, while most larger weddings take place in Cook Commons. 

  • What are the rental rates?

     Full-day weekend rates are quoted on an individual basis. Large events may have the room rental fee waived for meeting a minimum food and beverage requirement.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    Cancellation by client within 48 hours of an event will forfeit all monies paid. Cancellation 48 hours to 30 days prior to the event date will incur a 75% payment of the total estimated invoice. Cancellation 31 or more days before the event date may by refunded in full. 

  • What is the maximum number of people your facility can accommodate?

    The maximum capacity for the entire floor cannot exceed 475 people. We can accommodate up to 250 for a wedding ceremony, and up to 350 for a seated reception with dance floor in the Cook Commons.

  • How far is the Legg Mason Tower from the airport? The train station?

    Legg Mason Tower is approximately a 20 minute drive from BWI airport and 10 minutes from Baltimore’s Penn Station.

  • What type of events can I hold at your venue?

    We host all types of events from corporate conferences, executive board meetings and training seminars to cocktail parties, fundraisers and wedding ceremonies and receptions of all kinds - formal, informal, ethnic, LGBTQ. 

  • Where can I park?

    There is a large, secure parking garage under our building available for your event 24/7. Please inquire about rates, validation, and valet options.

  • What hotels are nearby?

    There are 6 hotels within 2 blocks. We recommend an internet search for Harbor East Hotels for a complete listing with contact information.

  • Is there security in the building?

    Yes, Harbor East provides 24/7 security at the front desk and throughout the building. All visitors will be required to check in. Please bring photo ID. For large events, guests will be checked in by our staff or your staff without having to present ID. A registration/guest list must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the event.

  • Can I bring in my own caterer or my own food?

    No, Restaurant Associates is the exclusive caterer for the Legg Mason Tower.  Wedding cakes provided by a licensed bakery are permitted.  

  • Do you make ethnic foods?

    Our culinary team has broad experience in many different cuisines. We are happy to work with you to develop a menu that is inspired by almost any regional cuisine.

  • How do I bring in large equipment?

    Anything larger than a rolling suitcase must come through the loading dock by prior arrangement.

  • Can I decorate the space?

    Yes! We encourage you to bring decorations suitable for your event. Nothing may be attached to the walls, but other than that, you have numerous options including pipe & drape, lighting, flowers, banners, window clings, etc.
